Life Science (per. 1-3, 7):  Read section 3 of Chapter 17 and write the answers for the section review questions 1-8 in your notebook on right page 58.  Write out questions and answers, or write a complete sentence answer.  On the next set of left and right pages you need to work on 17.3 and 17.4 vocab pictures and 17.3/17.4  definitions.  Choose any 6 words to illustrate as vocabulary pictures and draw, label the term,  and color them on your left side page (59) then define the 10 vocab terms from 17.3 which includes:                                                         camouflage

mutualism

parasitism

predation

symbiosis

habitat

niche

Put these definition terms on your right side page (60).  Whatever you do not finish in class please work on for homework tonight!



Core Ideas Class:  First thing, in class read together outloud pages 841-846, discuss the interactive textbook questions.  Next task is to find your next right page and start to define the following vocab terms from Chapters 25 and 26 in your textbook:

abiotic component, biotic component, biodiversity, biosphere, community, consumer, decomposer, ecology, ecosystem, environment, habitat, niche, population, producer

On the left side page choose 6 words to draw, label, and color that are symbolic of the vocab term's meaning.  If there is time before the bell than you can start the next part of the reading in class.
