Wednesday, March 23rd

See below pictures for today's class!

Remember to write down the weekly calendar every Monday off the classroom board!  If I don't have time to post you have the info. as needed.

All Classes, finish the front side of the handout for your Breeding Bunnies Data sheet, we will discuss and finish this tomorrow.  To find the gene frequency take the number of F alleles (plain beans) and divide by the total number of alleles (beans) used in the round.  For f alleles (marked beans) take the number and divide by the total number of alleles (beans) used in the round.  You will get percentages by multiply the decimal by 100.  Overall the general trend should be an increase in F allele frequency and a decrease in f allele frequency.   We should have modeled how natural selection will select a desired trait and certain alleles will become less common over time in the population!  See if your data models this from our experiment today in class.

We will be discussing the conclusion questions tomorrow as well as I will have some of you work on revisions for your Adaptation creations projects tomorrow in class.
