Today in class we went over main points about Global Warming. In the powerpoint, you should have taken notes and written out the information on the first five slides. The notes should go in your science notebook, pages 47 and 48. On page 49 you need to do a brainstorm and write out as many ideas and thoughts about what you could create as a new device/technology that would help you in your everyday life reduce your carbon output and help you fight Global Warming. Please take copious notes (many notes) and write out the simple and complex ideas you may have. More ideas are better, they can be creative and they can be on the edge of science fiction, they just need to show that they help you in your everyday life reduce your carbon footprint and it is something everyone is going to want.
Remember in class the example was the solar cell backpack. The solar cell on the backpack collects energy and stores it in a solar battery that has adapters you can plug into and charge your phone or other devices. This is already being sold in stores and on Amazon now, what else could you create that can help you? What do you use everyday, what do you need, what uses energy that you can redesign to be carbon friendly??? Time to think and brainstorm, page 49 of your notebook!
