Today in class we took our Movement of the Ocean Quiz then finished our Global Winds and Currents lab.

Here are the post lab questions we worked on for page 49 in your Science notebook:
1. What creates wind?
2. What does wind affect on Earth?
3. Maps are also considered to be models. What parts of the system are modeled by the global winds map?
4. How would global wind and global surface current patterns affect weather?
5. Based on your knowledge of global environments, do global wind and global surface current patterns affect where environments, such as deserts, are located on the globe?
