Today in class we turned in the Ch 17 Vocab defn's and homework as well as the NS Quiz Studyguide questions into Ebackpack folder.
The class modeled the action of a neuron in synapse, sending a message down the axon to other neurons in order to send an electrical message. The times are in: Period 2 10. 28 sec, Period 3 8.68 sec, Period 5 7.40 sec, Period 6 7.38 sec, and Period 7 7.31 sec.

In Ebackpack you should have taken the NS diagrams and loaded them into Noteability, we color coded the four sections of the cerebrum: parietal, temporal, occipital and frontal lobes and discussed what each controls, handout was given. The cerebellum and brain stem were also discussed.
The homework tonight is to study for the NS quiz and to also preview the material in the sections Eye and Vision as well as Other Senses sections of the digital textbook.

Period 4:
The class turned in the homework, the Mnemonic Device for today in Ebackpack Homework folder.
Today we finished discussing the disorders and diseases of the heart. We talked about cholesterol, high blood pressure, atherosclerosis and heart attack and failure. We also viewed part of a short video on a heart attack and what happens to the heart during heart attack.
There is a quiz tomorrow on your heart blood flow and heart facts worksheet from Monday, study and be ready for it!
