Periods 1-3, 5-7:  Today we discussed the different terms and completed the Punnett Square Classwork, tomorrow we will work on our Superheroes Genetics and create our Super Babies!

As for the homework, reading questions were due today and submitted to Ebackpack, and we continued onto CBB Chapter two.  So far you should have:

Chapter 1 

Gregor Mendel - 3 written paragraphs about who he is, what he did, why he is important in science.

Dominance vs. Recessiveness - 1 paragraph to explain the difference between the two

Chapter 2

Definitions and vocab pictures for:  Homozygous, Heterozygous, Genotype, Phenotype, Pedigree chart 

Find a video on you tube and copy paste URL for your CBB Genetics book:  Video explains how to work out a Punnett Square.

There is no homework tonight!

Period 4:  No homework tonight!  We worked on Punnett Squares and on the CBB project, if you do not understand how to do the Punnett Square problems please go online to search Khan academy or youtube so you can find example problems to watch and learn from.  If you go to Edmodo I will post a few links there as well!
