All classes, Quiz on Friday on characteristics of the 5 vertebrate animal groups:  fish, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, and birds.

Start on Tuesday:  Choose your vertebrate animal to study for your Digital Zoo Project.  Work on the research part and turn in first part of the project Friday.

ALL CLASSES please know that TODAY:
Please make sure to check your PowerSchool account today and look for updates today after school.  Any make up work should be sent into Ebackpack which has a late work/make-up work folder.  Periods 4/5 folders are open for submissions, what you sent in has been graded and I will do a final sweep tonight and close all folders at 4 pm today.  I can no longer accept any revisions of your Bubble gum or Plant Proof labs.

Periods 1-3, 7 bookwork is due at end of period and start vocabulary definitions to do for homework in class if there is time.

Part 1:  Read through Section 10.4 on Reptiles to find the answers to the following questions. in Ebackpack labeled Vertebrate Animal Questions.

Part 2:  Using Chapter 11 section 1, define the terms:  aerofoil, altricial, monogamous, polygamous, precocial

Part 3:  Using Chapter 11 section 2, define the terms:  harem, mammary glands, marsupial, monotremes, neocortex, placental, sexual dimorphism”

Period 4/5:  Popcorn read (read aloud) with class pages 604-617, Define all terms on page 620, due at end of period, take home for HWK if you can not finish today in class but please use your time wisely. 

Hwk:  Write out Q and A for page 621 and 622 # 1-10.
