All Classes today: We are working on the notebook and making sure pages are ready for June 7th turn in. Your notes for the nervous system are in Ebackpack if you did not get them, please copy them down if you do not have them. On your next left and right page complete the following work:
Left page: Draw a picture of the neuron and label the dendrites, cell body, nucleus, axon, myelin sheath, and axon terminal/terminal ends. Color your diagram.
Under the picture define the job of each part of the nerve cell, think about how a message travels through a nerve cell...it would be good to describe this as well, use your book to help you.
Right page: create a 15 word crossword puzzle review. Make the squares and underneath write out the down and across clues. Fill in the squares with the terms you used as part of your review. I would use the Quizlet reviews to help you with your crosswords.
When finished you need to access your quizlet reviews and start practicing all four sets for the test on Tuesday. They are Respiratory, Digestive, Nervous and the Cardiovascular system sets. You need to scroll down to find the Nervous and Cardiovasular system sets!
Please work independently and diligently. I will be holding a special test review during lunch on Monday if you are interested in attending. This will be from 12:45 - 1:20 pm.
