Good Morning Students! I am out for science training and meetings today...please read and follow our substitute's directions. At the end of class two items are due, you turn in your worksheet into the back clear "Turn in Trays" for your period. You also submit your EGGcellent Eggs Classwork from Ebackpack into the Turn in folder electronically. If you do not finish your Egg Classwork it will become homework!
In class today, you and your table group will be getting an activity worksheet and two envelopes. Start with the first envelope marked Trait. Follow the directions on your handout. The teacher will give you two minutes to complete the first task. Now take your second envelope marked Variations, read the directions and complete step two. When you are finished put all materials (squares) back into the correct envelopes for the next period. Complete all worksheet questions. The sub will collect your work.
For the second activity today you will be reopening your Notability document titled EGGcellent Eggs Classwork. The sub will ask you some thinking questions to get you warmed up and thinking aobut the eggs and how they connect with the idea of Reproduction and Variation. Next, finish websearching for the information about the egg structures and answer all the classwork questions in your Notability doc. The sub will be giving you ten minutes to work. They will then stop the class for some discussion and thinking questions to end with. Raise your hand to share ideas and answers to earn tickets for the Raffle in March. The sub will then ask you to finish your work and submit to Ebackpack to turn in the Classwork. You can then work on Fieldwork, make-up work, or homework from another class if there is any time left.
Period 4 you will need to crack your eggs open and look for the structures. This is the only class that did not get to do the activity! If you have questions email me. Make up work is being scored and I hope to have grades updated on PowerSchool by Friday AM or by 3pm Friday. Have a great day, Mrs. Sanchez
