Today in class we used the poker chips to randomly determine which genotype your Baby fish inherited from the eight Frankenfish genotypes. You should have worked on making sure all Genotype and Phenotype percentages were listed on your Punnett Squares and you drew a baby fish titled OFFSPRING on the white drawing paper.
As of today your Mitosis handout with questions, Frankenfish chart and definitions, Punnett Squares and the OFFSPRING drawing are four papers needed for your Thursday packet of Science classwork that you will turn in.
Hwk: Complete Frankenfish and any incomplete worksheets for Thursday, work on Fieldwork due next Friday, and be aware you have a Genetics and Punnett Squares quiz on Friday. You will need to understand how to do Punnett Square Problems and will need to work these throughout the week in class to prepare so you can show you understand them on the quiz. No notes on the quiz, you are working out the Punnett Squares and listing the Geno/Phenotypes. Vocabulary will be used so you need to understand terms to understand the problems given.
