Monday, June 5th

Today in class we worked on the CBB and formatted Chapter 4.  Whatever you did not finish is homework tonight, we will be working on Chapters 5 and 6 tomorrow!

Important dates:  Thursday = CBB is due, Friday = Reading quiz, all make up work due, and Fieldwork due!

Next Tuesday, June 13th is the Unit Exam on Body Systems and your Science Notebook is due!

Today's Chapter instructions were on the board, pictures are below, here is a summary of the Chapter:
Chapter 4 Frog Dissection
Part A. External Anatomy
1.  Head of the frog includes eye, nicitating membrane, tympanic membrane, and external nares.

2.  Digits of the frog (hand and foot).  The male pad is an enlarged darker patched pad that the male uses during mating and is located on the hand.

Part B. Mouth
Here we see the maxilla (upper jaw), mandible (lower jaw), tongue, maxillary teeth, glottis, and opening to the esophagus.

Part C. and D. Internal Dissection
1. Layer 1:  Liver and Heart
