Welcome Summer Bio Students! We are in for a few weeks of some serious science. Please make sure to complete all Classwork and Homework in order to prepare you well for the Chapter Exams and the Final Exam at the end of the Semester.
Today in class....
We went over course expectations, did a Safety discussion and share out followed by the Safety Quiz. You will need to get a spiral notebook for notes and vocab or a composition notebook for in-class use. We did the Gummy Bear lab descriptions, predictions and set up for some Science inquiry and then left it overnight for 24 hours of reaction time. Your microscope packet came in handy to describe parts of the microscope and to understand how to use the microscope to view small objects a at a great magnification. Today we completed the microscope lab. We finished the day with notes on Chapter 1 and started vocab definitions and the workbook pages for Chapter 1.
The exam is tomorrow, please read, complete homework and study! We have all 23 vocab terms from page 30 due tomorrow as well as Chapter 1 workbook pages to be turned in for credit. Good luck today, we will cover a Chapter a day, so please be ready!
