Today in class we discussed Global Circulation. After reading page 442, will be in Ebackpack folder titled "Weather and climate" we wrote a summary paragraph on the main ideas presented on page 52 of our notebook. This was our Bellringer for 12/18/17. We did a demo today and described this on page 53 which was to explain the movement of cold, salty ocean water and how it moves in the ocean. This was a model of the concept of global circulation and is posted below for reference.
Tonight's homework is to read the "Influences on Weather and Climate article" in Ebackpack Weather and Climate folder. You will need to write up a summary about the reading on page 51 of your science notebook. Notebooks will be due when we return from break. Organize your pages and catch us as needed.
