STEM/STEAM: Rube Goldberg Machines were finished today. Tomorrow final video edits are made and you will work on a revised, and better poster to explain your RGM and that will be displayed for Open House!
6th GRADE:
Today in class we revisited our activities from Monday. We should know the difference between deep currents and surface currents in the ocean and how convection plays a part of making these currents. In class we read pg. 436 - 442 on Surface currents. You were to take notes on the 5 headings in blue: 1. Global winds 2. How the Sun powers the Ocean 3. Coriolis Effect 4. Continental Deflection and 5. How ocean currents distribute heat globally. Please use the resources below to help you finish the reading. There will be a little time in class to make sure you finished yesterday's reading and summary about the factors that affect or influence Ocean Surface Currents!
Check Google Classroom for resources, I posted a link to the reading from class today.
