STEM/STEAM: Today we went outside and used our notebook to write and record our observations about our experimental bubble mix and the control bubble mix: Miracle Bubble Solution. You compared the two liquids in how they made bubbles and we tried to get an idea of how we could take data on the bubbles since the task is very subjective. Today as a class we discussed some of your methods and how to be consistent in order to do accurate comparisons. Tomorrow we will be creating a second solution to test!
6th GRADE: Today in Google classroom we went over the slides about Global Warming. You should have got into teams of three and then in the powerpoint you did the carbon footprint calculator and looked over the top 7 environmental problems we are experiencing today. We started thinking about the projects/presentations you will be giving next week and tomorrow you will be working on your projects/presentations during the class period.
Please use Google Classroom and look at the 1/18/19 post for the added powerpoint slides used in class today and for the active links you needed for classwork.
We did page 50 today, and started 51 in our notebook. Page 50 were notes about the effects of Global warming, the information for that is found in the powerpoint slides.
