Wednesday, Feb 24th

Baby is sick with a Fever, I am out today!

Please stay on task so you use this time to get ahead:

On the back of last night's homework complete your questions.  You can find the answers by looking at the diagram or using the digital textbook Chapters on DNA.  Periods 4/5 your info is in Chapter 8, all other periods your info is in Chapter 15, section 3.

After finishing the worksheet, work on the Punnett Squares Hwk that is due tomorrow.  There are 16 problems, write out the solutions by showing the Punnett Square work and the % for geno and phenotypes, answer any questions asked in the problem.   I recreated the list of questions here:  If you are all caught up please work on your Work log #5 due Friday or research for Genius Hour.  Use the time wisely, you know that the period will go by fast and I hope to be back tomorrow for our lab experiment!  We will move our DNA models to a different day as needed.  Thanks for your cooperation.  :)  Mrs. Sanchez

  1. Starfishes is not proper grammar the plural to starfish is starfish as shown by this sentence. There are many starfish. There is one starfish. It does not change.

    1. Thanks for the comment, we can send feedback to the original owner of the document, however note that in the English dictionary starfish and starfishes are both cited as plural forms of the word starfish! English can be tricky!
