Life Science:  In class today we collected Bubble Gum labs late and the Section review questions from Friday on Section 2.3 # 1-9.  We worked on the Organic Compounds quickie lab in class today! Submit your classwork to Ebackpack today, you should have finished the Organic Compounds Quickie lab that was done today in class, we also set up notebooks for the notes tomorrow on pages 15 and 16.  

Hwk:  There is a reading quiz on Friday for Ch 3 and Ch 4 on Classification, very small chapters in your textbook, be prepared and make your notes sheet if needed.  Your Unit Exam is next Tuesday on Ch 2-4 Living Things and Classification.  Use the Quizlet reviews for studying, do not use any reviews titled Core Ideas, this is a different test studyguide!  They are titled Ch 2 Review Living things and Ch 2-4 Review Classification.



Core Ideas Class:  Today we did the Organic Compounds Quickie lab in class and you should have sent completed work into Ebackpack folder, if not please do so ASAP!  Tonight you need to finish your Bubble Gum lab work and print it out.  Four parts are needed to have this complete:

You need to have these four, numbered and labeled sections printed and turned in tomorrow:  1. Claim  2.  Data tables (qualitative and quantitative) 3. Data Graph  4.  Analysis = 2 paragraphs to address the following...

Paragraph one, compare your Claim to the Results, was it supported or rejected, if rejected, why? Be sure to restate what the claim was in the first sentence.

Paragraph two, analyze your data/results and explain what occurred and what it means about the gum.  What did you learn from the experiment, what did you learn about yourself?  What were you able to prove?  What would you do again or do differently to gain more support or evidence for your idea about the gum?
