Directions for all classes today: The baby is sick and has a fever, so I am out! I did not get a chance to upload new grades, will try to do that today. You will need to check updates tomorrow morning because was unable to get to this yesterday!
Periods 1-3, 7: Students have a quiz in class. They can use study notes on the quiz, one side, of one page that is handwritten. Collect notes at end of quiz. Quiz is on Edmodo on the iPad. If they do not have an iPad they will need to wait for a student to finish and log out and see if they can borrow someone's iPad after they finish and they can log on to take the quiz.
After they finish have them work on page 14 in their notebook, finish vocab defintions by defining these terms: 5. lipid 6. protein 7. carbohydrate 8. nucleic acid 9. electron 10. Periodic Table
Then have students read 2.3 in textbook and do the 2.3 section review questions # 1-9. If they do not finish this in class today, then they need to finish over the weekend for homework!
Please collect the Hwk today. This was lab work from students and have them staple their graded Bubble gum data sheets to their Bubble gum lab work that was typed and printed out. Thanks!
Period 4/5 have a quiz and then they will need to work on classwork. The quiz is on Edmodo and the kids will need to log on to take it. A collaborative teacher will be in there to assist and to help. I'll go over lab data and formats next week when I return to class. They need to create a Keynote with three slides. first slide is Characteristics of Living things, research online and find the characteristics that describe a living thing. Second slide is a collage of 10 images/pictures for living things. Third slide is a collage of 10 images/pictures for things that are not alive! Have them save this file and we will turn it into Ebackpack next week on Monday.
