Thursday, September 17th

Life Science:  Today we worked on your notebook page 13 (Living things concept map, template found in EBPack folder "Living Things") and page 14 Ch 2 vocabulary definitions and did 4/10 terms in class.  We finished the "Is it alive?" lab and any extra time was spent on your Bubble gum lab work.  You need to have these four, numbered and labeled sections printed and turned in tomorrow:  1. Claim  2.  Data tables (qualitative and quantitative) 3. Data Graph  4.  Analysis = 2 paragraphs to address the following...

Paragraph one, compare your Claim to the Results, was it supported or rejected, if rejected, why?  Be sure to restate what the claim was in the first sentence.

Paragraph two, analyze your data/results and explain what occurred and what it means about the gum.  What did you learn from the experiment, what did you learn about yourself?  What were you able to prove?  What would you do again or do differently to gain more support or evidence for your idea about the gum?

You have a quiz on 2.2 reading tomorrow!  Please study over the Chemistry of living things!

Core Ideas Class:  Today in class we finished the "Is it alive lab"  your notebook should be completed from pages 1-12 as of today, if not catch up tonight. Tomorrow is the quiz on Chapter 2 "Life on Earth" and the pdf copy of the book for those that could not download it is in Ebackpack, a folder titled "Ch 2 textbook"  Please use this to read!
